The region of Gandhara, that includes the Swat valley of Pakistan, is known for its serene natural beauty. With exquisite Deodār Cedar indigenous to the region, is gifted with artisans which embellish these elements with unique carvings of its natural surroundings. Their skills of converting simple piece of wood into an intricate piece of art, dates back to 300 B.C.
